As it is difficult, if not almost impossible, to get there by car during the summer season, from mid-May to the end of October, the ideal solution is to rent a boat. By the sea there are a lot of magical places to visit, so we have selected our favorite anchorage spots in Ibiza. Most of the time we go on a boat with friends or family, and take a delicious picnic with us, but as a lover of good gastronomy Nicolas likes to anchor near one of our favorite beach restaurants.

The power of attraction of Cala d’ Hort is immense, this magnificent cove contemplates the islet of Es Vedra. From the whole emerges something mysterious, mythological. The impression is all the stronger when one approaches the rock – Some will feel a kind of attraction and others a feeling of unexplained fear, however no one remains indifferent, especially children who will feel the magic of the place, approaching its climax when dolphins that can be seen very often begin their aquatic ballet.

The rock of Es Vedra fascinates both locals and visitors. From immemorial times (it already appeared in Homer ‘s Odyssey ) this place has been given a special magnetism, it is the source of many paranormal legends.

Breaking through the sea, the mystical rock of Es Vedra exudes a majestic and sublime force. Lucky are those who can go around it by boat. To observe it, one can also have a beautiful point of view when one circulates around the island. but we advise you to go there early in the morning or at sunset ( set up on the beach of Cala D’ hort ), otherwise you run the risk of being surrounded by hundreds of visitors.

6 – CALA ESCONDIDA – RACO D’EN XIC – CALA CONTA

The bay of cala conta is a jewel to be discovered by boat. Victim of its success, this beach becomes inaccessible by car, but by boat it becomes paradise. Cala Conta is made up of two magical coves including Raco d’en XIC; many islands emerge from the water creating a postcard image. 8 – CALA XUCLAR – au Nord de San Juan
Here is a little cove unknown to tourists, it is nestled in a magnificent environment, made up of mountains and lush vegetation. The creek is very protected, the water is therefore calm, it is pleasant to practice snorkeling near the rocks, paddle or Seabob in complete tranquility. The beach is very small and very difficult to access by car, few tourists arrive there; for all our customers who have been going out very often by boat for several years, I organize without exception a day by boat in this creek. For those who rent a Yacht from us and who are going on a cruise, we organize a night at anchor. The family restaurant Chiringuito XUCLAR has been sold to a team of young enthusiasts. The more refined and cosmopolitan food than before is excellent here.

9 – ES PORTIXOL – Our «secret place»
Among the most beautiful coves and the most beautiful anchorages on the island, there are the unmissable destinations such as Cala d’ Hort or Cala Conta… and then there are the hidden treasures that the locals avoid communicating such as Es Portixol . Near San Miguel it is nestled in the north of the island, and we can say that this small beach, which is difficult to access by land, is reserved for insiders and locals. And for good reason: this cove, which is one of the most beautiful in Ibiza, is difficult to access. It can only be reached on foot, by walking for more than 30 minutes along the edge of the cliff, or by boat, along the steep coasts of the island. Located on the east coast between Ibiza and Santa Eularia , in summer we don’t go there often because the east wind is dominant, but when possible we organize boat trips near this beautiful private island. Few boats sail in Tagomago , this makes it a sublime place to discover, the funds are clear and limpid, there are many fish.
